Role Summary: Responsible for managing software license servers, ensuring compliance, and supporting license-related operations across multiple platforms.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and maintain license servers and services
  • Coordinate license file updates and vendor communications
  • Ensure license compliance and audit readiness
  • Support license-related incidents and service requests
  • Document license configurations and maintain inventory
  • License Server Management
  • Verification & Enrolment of License files & related activities
  • Install new License service with Licensing technologies like DSLS, FlexLM, RLM
  • Troubleshoot the licensing service if it is down
  • Other miscellaneous license-related requests: options file management, vendor port configuration, log data export
  • Licensing services are running on different OS like RHEL, Windows, Solaris, AIX. People must know activities like logging into Solaris, patching, restarting, troubleshooting on OS logs
  • Monitoring the licensing services & servers through Nagios XI monitoring solution

Requirements:

  • Experience with DSLS, FlexLM, RLM license technologies
  • Understanding of license compliance and audit processes
  • Familiarity with license monitoring tools and reporting
  • Ability to troubleshoot license service issues across OS platforms
  • Total Experience Expected: 02-04 years
  • BE/MSc/MCA/BCA
  • Experience working with License management servers ~ 2 years
  • Linux skills
