Job Description:

Join Our Team as a Liaison and Diversion Keyworker! Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable women? The Nelson Trust is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Liaison and Diversion Keyworker to join our Women's Community Services team in Gloucester! You'll be working in partnership with Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust to deliver a gender-specific diversionary scheme. Your mission? To divert women away from the Criminal Justice System and into comprehensive support packages at the earliest opportunity. You'll be the guiding light, providing 1:1 signposting, practical advice, and holistic support to help women build their confidence and make positive changes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate and oversee referrals to appropriate support services
  • Provide personalised, trauma-informed support
  • Work closely with core services to ensure comprehensive care
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Divert women away from the Criminal Justice System and into comprehensive support packages at the earliest opportunity
  • Provide 1:1 signposting, practical advice, and holistic support to help women build their confidence and make positive changes

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience working with women with multiple complex needs
  • Strong partnership development skills
  • Experience in needs assessment and support plan delivery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Car driver with current licence and willingness to travel
