Job Description:

We are seeking a commercially minded, and people-centric Leisure Club Manager to join the team at the The Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo, part of The iNUA Hotel Collection. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced manager to step up and take full ownership of the Leisure Club's operations, driving membership sales, ensuring impeccable standards, and leading a high-performing team. Job Responsibility:

  • Commercial Performance: Take full responsibility for the club’s revenue, profit, and payroll budgets. Your ultimate goal is to improve live membership numbers through intelligent sales strategies, retention programmes, and customer value growth
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain the highest standards of presentation and ensure full compliance in all areas of Health & Safety, including excellent knowledge of Plant & Machinery operations
  • Dynamic Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of Fitness, Sales, and Member Experience Champions. Foster a culture where the team is motivated, performs at its highest level, and achieves outstanding business results
  • Sales & Retention: Formulate and execute robust Marketing & Sales Plans to actively seek new business, drive retention, and coordinate successful Corporate and Wellbeing Events
  • Member Experience: Ensure every member and hotel guest receives a top-class experience, exceeding expectations and creating a sense of belonging that encourages strong word-of-mouth referrals

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Leisure Club Management experience (or similar)
  • Proven track record in leading teams to achieve results and business objectives
  • Third-level Qualification in Fitness, Leisure & Sports Management, or similar
  • Fitness Instructor Level 3 REPS Ireland or equivalent
  • Group Exercise Instructor qualification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Basic First Aid certified

  • Swim Teaching Qualification
  • Lifeguard Qualification
