Job Description:

Haringey has now brought its leisure centres back in-house and is reshaping the service around a broader wellbeing offer. This is a pivotal moment to help shape a newly insourced leisure service, embed its delivery, and lead its ongoing development.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for two flagship sites with swimming pools — including the iconic Park Road Lido and New River Sports Centre — as well as a smaller community gym
  • Play a crucial role in service delivery
  • Act as the main point of contact for all General Managers and wider staff teams
  • Lead delivery of inclusive, accessible services that meet the diverse needs of residents
  • Lead and develop operational team to ensure the newly integrated service continues to meet the needs of residents through excellent customer care and well-managed facilities
  • Inspire a culture of excellent customer services
  • Create centres that are inclusive and welcoming

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in the leisure industry
  • Ability to lead and motivate a large operational workforce across multiple sites
  • Ability to work with and influence a wide range of people and partners to get things done
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety
