Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Legal Event/Marketing Coordinator to oversee and execute a variety of marketing, event planning, and legal writing tasks. This position is based in San Francisco, California, and involves collaborating with consultants, coordinating office events, and managing content creation initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with external consultants to manage social media campaigns, marketing initiatives, and the creation of promotional materials
  • plan and coordinate office events, including focus groups, monthly training sessions, and attorney retreats
  • communicate with vendors to negotiate contracts and secure favorable rates for venues, catering, and other event needs
  • draft and edit synopses for legal cases to be included in a semi-annual torts newsletter
  • oversee the design, printing, and distribution of marketing and event-related materials by liaising with design consultants
  • ensure all written content adheres to a high standard, including proofreading and editing for clarity and accuracy
  • manage logistics for office events, ensuring smooth execution from planning to completion
  • provide ongoing support for internal marketing efforts, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in event planning, including working with vendors and coordinating logistics
  • strong legal writing and editing skills, with the ability to synthesize complex legal concepts into clear summaries
  • exceptional proficiency in proofreading and attention to detail
  • familiarity with creating and managing marketing campaigns, including social media initiatives
  • excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • strong communication skills for liaising with consultants, vendors, and internal teams
  • experience in writing or editing legal content is highly desirable
  • proficiency in managing deadlines and delivering high-quality work under time constraints
