Job Description:

The role involves joining Fever's innovative Legal team based in Madrid, advising on legal issues related to event productions and content partnerships across US jurisdictions. The position emphasizes contract negotiation, legal risk mitigation, incident management, and providing guidance to various teams.

Job Responsibility:

Draft, review, negotiate and advise on agreements across various areas including content development, production, distribution, marketing, sponsorship, and talent engagements
support business and production teams by identifying risks, designing mitigation strategies, and facilitating smooth execution
conduct legal research and deliver actionable guidance
manage diverse legal projects and oversee workflows
assist with internal compliance including intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory matters
support incident management and dispute resolution
prepare internal templates, guides, and deliver training and presentations on legal matters.

Requirements:

Qualified US barred lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in-house in experience-economy and/or technology-first companies
solution-oriented and strategic thinker with strong business judgment
possess strong legal drafting skills
native or bilingual English proficiency
ability to take ownership and prioritize appropriate resources to support multiple time-sensitive projects
effective communicator with emotional intelligence
self-motivated and adaptable team player
values humility, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
