Job Description:

Junior level position supporting as a Legal Assistant at a leading plaintiff trial firm in Century City. Contract-to-hire role offering an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with an established law firm in Los Angeles.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately record and maintain legal documents, case information, and deadlines in docketing systems
Monitor and track critical dates to ensure compliance with court rules, client requirements, and internal procedures
Perform regular audits of docketing data to ensure completeness and accuracy
Stay up to date on court rules, procedural changes, and docketing best practices
Manage incoming and outgoing communications related to case status, filings, and deadlines
Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data security protocols

Requirements:

Previous experience in administrative or legal support roles is a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Tech-savvy
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions
