Job Description:

Learning Support Assistant - Temp-to-Perm SEN Opportunity (18+). Randstad is urgently seeking highly motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSA) for a rewarding temporary-to-permanent position at a specialist school. This role is specifically designed for supporting young adults (18+) with complex needs (including autism and physical disabilities). Secure your long-term career path with this full-time, Monday to Friday opportunity, offering excellent training and support for professionals passionate about Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing direct learning and behavioural support alongside experienced teaching staff
  • Supporting young adults (18+) with complex needs (including autism and physical disabilities)

Requirements:

  • Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS Check (Child and Adult)
  • Must be able to commit to full-time, Monday to Friday hours
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to integrate effectively into a specialist team
  • A driving license is highly recommended
  • Genuine passion for and commitment to working with young adults with SEN and complex needs
