Job Description:

We are working alongside a brilliant Secondary School situated within the borough of Waltham Forest which is currently seeking multiple Learning Support Assistants to join their ranks. The ideal applicant will have some experience working alongside varying SEMH/SEN needs however, this is not essential. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be there to enhance the student’s learning development. Day to day within the role you may be required to do the following, support children with varying needs such as ADHD and ASC, collaborate with teachers and staff to implement tailored learning plans, assist with pupil behaviour and other varying responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting students across KS3, KS4 & KS5
Assisting pupils with SEND/SEMH needs in small groups and 1:1
Provide continuous support within the classroom

Requirements:

Flexible and adaptable to working with diverse groups of students
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working alongside SEN/SEMH is preferred
Commitment to the care and well-being of pupils

Nice to have:

Experience working alongside SEN/SEMH
