Job Description:

The Learning Support Assistant position is for graduates looking to help young people with learning, particularly those with SEN needs. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025, located in Greenwich, London. The role involves working closely with teachers and supporting students across KS3-KS5, including leading sessions and encouraging inclusion. Ideal for candidates aspiring to become an Educational or Clinical Psychologist, Youth Worker, or Counsellor.

Job Responsibility:

Working with subject teachers and STL to support students across KS3, KS4 & KS5
Leading support sessions for students in both 1:1 and group settings
Encouraging an inclusive and positive environment for the students to work within
Providing support to the school’s SEN pupils (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc)

Requirements:

Have a Degree in Psychology or related course from a reputable University
Be compassionate, caring and a patient person
Be able to work effectively with the wider team and be a team player
Must have a passion for the secondary curriculum and supporting young people

Nice to have:

Perfect for aspiring Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Youth Worker, Counsellor
