Urgent: Full-Time Learning Support Assistant (Temp-to-Perm) | Cranleigh Specialist School. A highly-resourced specialist school is urgently seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and resilient Full-Time Learning Support Assistant to support students with complex special educational needs (aged 5-18). This is an immediate, fast-track temp-to-perm opportunity designed for candidates ready to commit to a rewarding, long-term role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work in small class settings (supporting students aged 5 to 18) who have complex SEN
  • Collaborate closely with experienced teachers to implement tailored support strategies and execute individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Facilitate student access to the curriculum and contribute to a positive, nurturing environment, ensuring all students thrive both academically and developmentally

Requirements:

  • GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Willingness to undergo or possession of a valid Enhanced DBS Check (Children and Adults)
  • Immediate availability for full-time, Monday to Friday, Term-Time employment
  • Genuine passion for supporting children with complex needs, including Autism and Physical Disabilities
  • Prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or with SEN students is advantageous
