We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist secondary setting in Horsham. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in both classroom support and vocational learning.
Job Responsibility:
Support secondary-age pupils with additional needs in both academic and practical learning environments
Assist with the running of the onsite café, a vocational provision managed by the pupils, helping them to build real-world skills and confidence
Provide consistent classroom support around café hours, ensuring pupils are fully engaged in their learning and personal development
Work closely with teaching staff to promote positive behaviour, independence, and achievement
Requirements:
Experience supporting young people with SEMH, ASC, or additional needs is highly desirable
Patient, resilient, and adaptable with a genuine passion for helping students thrive
Able to balance practical, hands-on tasks with classroom-based support
Team player with strong communication skills and a nurturing approach
What we offer:
£127 per day (PAYE)
