Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations, maintenance and support of the Learning Management System (LMS) platform
  • Provide end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance, and escalation management
  • Develop standardized LMS operational processes and procedures, guidelines, and documentation to ensure LMS governance model is followed
  • Ensure that educational content is being delivered without experiencing any avoidable technical issues that could diminish the overall user experience
  • Develop and deliver standard reports on the LMS and other digital learning products
  • Engage business stakeholders to understand needs, showcase capabilities, and drive adoption
  • Serve as a team expert in the LMS space. Stay up to date with industry best practices, new technologies, functionality, and innovations in the field
  • Work in partnership with subject matter experts to gather information needed to develop training content
  • Create Microsoft Teams sites for customers
  • Assign education account licenses to students and faculty members
  • Train members in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Canvas
  • Facilitate audience-appropriate, clear, concise training for DLIFLC users on academic applications and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and applications built internally for staff and faculty use
  • Assist gathering information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

  • A+ CE certification (can be completed within 6 months of start date)
  • LMS experience
  • Educational requirements include a bachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university or the equivalent experience in Identity Management
  • 5 years of related experience in a higher education environment
  • 2+ years in relevant experience which includes Sakai, Kaltura, Blackboard, Moodle, Angel, Webex, DCO Connect, iOS, Confluence, SharePoint or Canvas
