We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Learning & Development Manager to lead and deliver learning across Ayers Rock Resort. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, this role is responsible for shaping, coordinating, and embedding learning frameworks that support a large, operational workforce. You will lead resort-wide training delivery, manage systems and external providers, and ensure learning initiatives align with business needs, compliance requirements, budget expectations, and employee development aspirations in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and implement the Learning & Development Strategy for Ayers Rock Resort
Oversee delivery of internal and external training across all departments
Own and continuously improve Ayers Rock Resort Orientation Program
Manage the VLearn (LMS) platform, ensuring accurate records, reporting and compliance
Partner with leaders to identify training needs and develop practical learning solutions
Plan and manage the monthly training calendar, including logistics and coordination
Manage external training providers and training budgets
Lead and support the Learning & Development team
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Learning & Development Manager role within hospitality or a large, complex organisation
Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability
Experience delivering training to diverse employee groups at scale
High attention to detail with strong systems and administration skills
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, operational environment
A collaborative leader with a genuine passion for developing people
