The Leadership Development Advisor leads the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning programs that strengthen the capability and effectiveness of people across the organization. This role is responsible for creating consistent, high-quality onboarding experience for new leaders, developing leadership curriculum, and integrating coaching and mentoring to accelerate performance. A key focus of this position is building a strong internal talent pipeline through intentional upskilling, leadership development, and succession‑ready learning experiences. The Leadership Development Advisor assesses organizational and role-specific training needs using data and stakeholder input to guide learning strategy and priorities. In partnership with leaders, this role fosters a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and performance excellence by embedding development into the flow of work and ensuring leadership behaviors align with business strategy, performance expectations, and future workforce needs
Job Responsibility:
Lead and evolve the leadership development program
Facilitate workshops, webinars, and virtual learning experiences focused on communication, coaching, feedback, and team leadership
Partner with HR and divisional leaders to align leadership development with business strategy and performance goals
Obtain and maintain facilitation certifications for externally adopted training programs (e.g,“Six Working Genius”, “As I See Myself”, to ensure high-quality delivery and consistency
Design, delivery and manage the onboarding experience for newly promoted or newly hired people leaders
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to ensure seamless transitions and early success for new leaders
Develop curated learning paths using internal platforms like Beazer University and Cornerstone playlists
Incorporate experiential learning, mentorship, case studies, and 360 reviews into the curriculum
Continuously update content based on feedback, performance data, and evolving business needs
Provide development-focused coaching to current people leaders and high-potential employees as part of structured leadership development programs
Establish mentoring programs that foster cross-functional learning and leadership growth
Train leaders on how to coach and develop their teams effectively
Establish and maintain metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of training and onboarding programs
Adjust programs based on business need and organizational skill gaps to ensure relevance and impact
Stay current on leadership development best practices and adult learning methodologies
Requirements:
7+ years of progressive professional experience, including either direct Learning & Development leadership experience or demonstrated success as a people leader with a strong understanding of organizational dynamics, talent development, and leadership effectiveness
Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, and executive presence, enabling credibility and influence with senior leaders
Strong communication, interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, mentor, and support the development of people leaders and high-potential employees
Experience with LMS platforms and digital learning tools or demonstrated ability to adopt and leverage technology to enable learning at scale
Willingness & ability to travel up to 40% to support division leaders and enterprise learning initiatives
