We are looking for an experienced Lead React.js Developer to head a team of 30 front-end engineers. The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of experience with strong React.js expertise, and full-stack capability (Node.js, backend exposure) is a strong plus. This is a contract role with an initial term of three (3) to six (6) months. Based on project needs and performance, the contract can be extended up to a maximum of one (1) year.
Job Responsibility:
Lead a team of React.js developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
Drive front-end architecture, design patterns, and code reviews
Ensure high performance, scalability, and responsiveness of applications
If full-stack: contribute to backend development using Node.js/Express and databases
Requirements:
7-8 years of hands-on experience in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), Redux, HTML5, CSS3
Strong understanding of front-end architecture and design patterns
Experience integrating with RESTful APIs / GraphQL
Team leadership experience (mentoring, reviewing, guiding juniors)
