Job Description:

We’re looking for a Product Design Team Lead to guide our Lifecycle group — the team responsible for the most growth-critical moments in the Rocket Money journey: onboarding, authentication, dashboard entry points, and premium membership conversion. This role blends design leadership with hands-on design work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and evolve the design strategy for the Lifecycle group
  • Collaborate with Product partners to identify opportunities and design experiments
  • Lead and mentor a team of product designers
  • Design, prototype, and test growth-focused solutions
  • Partner with analytics and research to translate insights
  • Ensure design outcomes are measurable, accessible, and aligned
  • Build scalable patterns and frameworks for growth experiments
  • Present design strategies and experiment results to senior leadership
  • Work closely with Product Design Ops to maintain and evolve the design process
  • Champion user-centered design principles

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in product or UX design
  • 2+ years leading or mentoring designers
  • Experience designing for growth, onboarding, and improving user acquisition/engagement
  • Skilled in Figma and comfortable working with modern design systems
  • Adept at working with engineers and PMs
  • A clear communicator
  • Motivated to see others succeed
  • Comfortable in ambiguity and proactive in bringing structure and clarity
