Job Description:

Join us in building the future of finance. Our mission is to democratize finance for all. An estimated $124 trillion of assets will be inherited by younger generations in the next two decades. The largest transfer of wealth in human history. If you’re ready to be at the epicenter of this historic cultural and financial shift, keep reading. About the team + role We are building an elite team, applying frontier technologies to the world’s biggest financial problems. We’re looking for bold thinkers. Sharp problem-solvers. Builders who are wired to make an impact. Robinhood isn’t a place for complacency, it’s where ambitious people do the best work of their careers. We’re a high-performing, fast-moving team with ethics at the center of everything we do. Expectations are high, and so are the rewards. The Talent Management team sets direction for how performance works at Robinhood. We design and operate the systems that clarify expectations, strengthen performance standards, and ensure consistency across teams as the company grows. Our work shapes how employees understand what strong performance looks like and how they build meaningful impact over time. We partner closely with leaders across Engineering, Customer Experience, and other core functions to ensure performance systems support business execution. As the Lead, Onboarding & Talent Acceleration, you will own how new hires ramp into high performance. You will design, operate, and continuously improve global onboarding systems that help employees understand expectations, build early momentum, and contribute meaningfully as quickly as possible. This role requires sound judgment, structured thinking, urgency, and disciplined follow-through. Your work will directly influence ramp time, early productivity, and retention across the company! This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA and New York, NY offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community. Our office experience is intentional, energizing, and designed to fully support high-performing teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own onboarding strategy and execution from Day One through early ramp, and continuously refine the experience as the company evolves
  • Design and operate a high-quality, in-person Day One onboarding experience that reflects company standards and prepares new hires for strong early performance
  • Build and maintain role and level based onboarding pathways that translate expectations into early impact
  • Partner with Engineering, Customer Experience, and other functional leaders to align central onboarding with role-specific ramp plans and eliminate duplication or gaps
  • Lead onboarding strategy for mergers, acquisitions, and integrations, ensuring speed, clarity, and continuity
  • Use onboarding and ramp data to identify friction points, analyze time-to-productivity trends, and implement targeted improvements

Requirements:

  • 7-8+ years of experience owning onboarding, talent management, or HR programs in a fast-paced organization
  • Experience working with distributed or global teams
  • Demonstrated success designing and scaling onboarding programs that measurably improved ramp time, productivity, or early retention
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to diagnose root causes and implement structured, practical solutions
  • Exceptional program management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver against clear timelines
  • Ability to influence across teams and levels through clear thinking and direct communication
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, Sana, Enboarder, or similar tools
What we offer:
  • Performance-driven compensation with multipliers for outsized impact, bonus programs, equity ownership, and 401(k) matching
  • 100% paid health insurance for employees with 90% coverage for dependents
  • Lifestyle wallet — a highly flexible benefits spending account for wellness, learning, and more
  • Employer-paid life & disability insurance, fertility benefits, and mental health benefits
  • Time off to recharge including company holidays, paid time off, sick time, parental leave, and more
  • Exceptional office experience with catered meals, events, and comfortable workspaces
