Are you a passionate mechanical design engineer with a background in motorsport? This is a rare opportunity to join a world-renowned automotive brand and contribute directly to Formula performance and innovation. We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, detailing and project management of suspension and braking system components for high-performance vehicles. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer educated to PhD /Masters degree level, and a proven track record in motorsport design and development.

Job Responsibility:

  • Full lifecycle ownership of mechanical components from concept design to testing, homologation and reliability resolution
  • Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, with a focus on technical leadership and junior designer development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and integration of suspension and braking systems

Requirements:

  • Educated to a minimum Masters degree level in Mechanical, Automotive, or Motorsport Engineering
  • Extensive experience in mechanical design within the motorsport industry
  • Proficient in CAD software (preferably CATIA V5) and MATLAB
  • Knowledge of composite materials and additive manufacturing technologies
  • Experience with CATIA FEA or ANSYS Workbench is highly desirable
  • International experience or a multicultural mindset is highly valued
