Job Description:

The Mantas Lead Engineer is accountable for developing high quality Mantas Scenarios to support the Bank’s regulatory requirements and data driven decision making. Mantas Engineer will serve as an example to other team members, work closely with customers, and remove or escalate roadblocks. By applying their knowledge of data architecture standards, data warehousing, data structures, and business intelligence they will contribute to business outcomes on an agile team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own development projects end to end, working with team and stakeholders to deliver quality products per stringent timelines
  • Design and develop Mantas Scenarios and implement
  • Hands on Mantas expert throughout the full development life cycle, including: requirements analysis, functional design, technical design, programming, testing, documentation, implementation, and on-going technical support
  • Analyse specifications and perform program/database design activities
  • Translate business needs (BRD) into effective technical solutions and documents (FRD/TSD)
  • Utilize Mantas Data Miner tools and any other necessary tools necessary for performing daily maintenance and project implementation for the Mantas AML program
  • Nurture talent and contribute towards knowledge development of team
  • Ability and willingness to learn newer tools used for build and deployments and contribute in SIT/UAT deployments as well

Requirements:

  • 9 to 11 years’ experience implementing data-intensive solutions using agile methodologies
  • Experience of relational databases and using SQL for data querying, transformation and manipulation
  • Experience of modelling data for analytical consumers
  • Expert in Oracle Mantas/FCCM, Scenario Manager, Scenario Development
  • Strong in Oracle Database, PL/SQL and performance tuning
  • Experience with Red Hat Linux and UNIX Bash Shell Scripting
  • Thorough knowledge and hands on experience in Mantas FSDM, DIS, Batch Scenario Manager
  • Knowledge of Build and Deployment tools like Bit Bucket, Jenkins, RLM, Service Now
  • Good to have knowledge on Python and Big Data Stack
  • A passion for learning new technologies, and a desire for personal growth, through self-study, formal classes, or on-the-job training
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering)
