As a Lead Cloud Engineer at Rearc, you'll be responsible for fostering trust and accountability within your team. Job Responsibility:

  • Understand Requirements and Challenges: Collaborate with clients to deeply understand their requirements and challenges, enabling the development of high-quality enterprise solutions tailored to the needs of Fortune 100 customers
  • Implement with a GitOps Mindset: Embrace a GitOps mindset and utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling, along with languages like Python, Go, Java, or other codified technologies, to build robust and scalable solutions
  • Lead Project Teams: Take the helm in leading project teams, providing both technical guidance and delivery oversight to ensure the successful completion of initiatives
  • Mentor Junior Engineers: Share your wealth of knowledge and experience with junior engineers, guiding and mentoring them as they grow in their roles and careers
  • Promote Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to our vibrant community by writing blogs and knowledge-sharing articles, promoting your personal brand and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, DevOps, or related fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
  • hands-on experience leading projects to build infrastructure on cloud platforms
  • extensive experience with infrastructure automation tools and best practices
  • in-depth knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools
  • strong understanding of networking and security concepts and best practices
  • strong strategic and analytical skills
