Job Description:

Laundry Manager position at The Westin Ningbo responsible for managing laundry operations, inventory, employee training, and ensuring quality standards while maintaining safety procedures and supporting team goals.

Job Responsibility:

Complete inventory of uniforms and linens
Conduct monthly inventory of laundry supplies
Report faulty equipment, maintenance needs, and safety hazards
Train employees on all laundry procedures
Verify laundry requests are completed for each department
Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery
Inspect linens and terry for damage
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Support team to reach common goals
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
