Job Description:

This position is ideal for a calm, safety-conscious person. The main role involves loading and unloading a wide variety of goods of various sizes and weights. You'll spend most of your time operating a forklift, but must also be able to lift loads of up to 75 lbs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate forklift (75% of tasks)
  • Using RF scanners
  • Wrapping pallets
  • Repetitive lifting 50-70 lbs (25% of tasks)
  • Loading and unloading: Handling freight in and out of trailers
  • Maintain a safe work environment and cooperate with the team

Requirements:

  • Valid external forklift license
  • Counterbalance forklift experience
  • 1-2 years warehouse experience
  • Previous experience in LTL loading and unloading
  • Able to lift 75 pounds
  • Hazardous goods certification (an asset)
  • Must own a car
  • Steel toed shoes and vest required
