Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated laborer to assist the FTTH Drop Plow Operator in the installation of service cables from residences to pedestals or road rights-of-way. This role involves physical labor, working outdoors in various conditions, and supporting equipment operation to ensure smooth installations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist the Drop Plow Operator with daily tasks and equipment operation
  • Handle and guide fiber/cable during the installation process
  • Perform site preparation and cleanup
  • Help with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Manually bury drops as needed or place temporary service lines on the ground
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company standards

Requirements:

  • Experience in construction, telecom, or underground utilities is a plus but not required
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying outdoor conditions
  • A safety-conscious and detail-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions from the operator
