Job Responsibility:

  • Monitor compliance with Occupational Health, Safety and Hygiene regulations in accordance with Vietnamese laws and company internal standards
  • Conduct risk assessments, regular and ad-hoc inspections of working conditions, machinery, equipment and tools in all work areas
  • Supervise safety compliance of employees, contractors and subcontractors, including safety induction and on-site monitoring during work activities
  • Maintain and monitor the list of equipment subject to strict safety requirements, ensuring proper inspection, certification and documentation
  • Organize safety induction safety training for employees
  • Prepare and submit periodic safety reports to Management
  • Update and monitor relevant legal requirements related to Occupational Safety and Environmental Hygiene
  • Implement safety communication programs such as posters, warning signs, toolbox talks and safety briefings
  • Manage daily operations of the on-site clinic / first aid room: Monitor and manage medical equipment, supplies/medicines and clinic personnel
  • Assuming other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety/Labor Protection or related fields such as Environment, Construction, or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 05 years of experience in an HSE or Occupational Safety role or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of Vietnamese Occupational Safety and Hygiene regulations
  • Possession of mandatory Occupational Safety certificates as required by law
  • Ability to communicate fluently in the local language and English both verbally and nonverbally
  • Skills in risk assessment, site inspection, reporting and safety training
  • Ability to deliver training, conduct presentations and prepare training materials
  • Careful, responsible and proactive working attitude
  • Microsoft knowledge is required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have the ability to respond to handle difficult or stressful situations with tact and diplomacy.
