Job Description:

We’re looking for a Labor Relations Specialist with expertise in U.S. labor laws and regulations to join our team. As an integral part of our Human Resources department, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring proper labor analysis, expansion procedures, smooth offboarding, and employee support within the U.S. market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Evaluate labor data and trends to identify areas for improvement and efficiency within Fever’s operations in the United States
  • Support strategic decision-making regarding company expansion within the U.S. market by assessing labor aspects, compliance requirements, and risks
  • Lead projects related to labor relations, such as implementing new policies or programs in line with U.S. labor laws
  • Monitor and address sensitive or controversial employment topics within the U.S. framework, maintaining transparent communication with employees and management
  • Provide guidance to management on employment matters and address inquiries specifically related to U.S. labor laws, union relations, and workplace policies
  • Address employee queries regarding U.S. labor-related issues, including benefits, working hours, wage laws, and workplace conditions
  • Work closely with the legal team to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and resolve policy-related issues
  • Create and maintain accurate records of labor-related documents, such as employment agreements, collective bargaining agreements, and internal policies specific to U.S. employment law
  • Ensure all documentation complies with applicable federal and state labor regulations and remains up to date
  • Collaborate with internal teams to review and adapt labor contracts based on evolving U.S. labor laws and best practices
  • Assist in the onboarding process to ensure compliance with employment laws in the different U.S. states where Fever operates
  • Oversee employee termination processes, ensuring proper procedures are followed in accordance with U.S. labor laws, including compliance with WARN Act obligations where applicable
  • Utilize internal communication tools to maintain effective communication with management and employees

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Labor Relations, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in labor relations with a strong focus on U.S. employment law (multi-state experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, NLRA, ADA, Title VII, state-specific regulations, and union relations in the U.S.)
  • Experience with employment-related compliance, risk mitigation, and employee relations within the U.S.
  • English level: C2 proficiency
  • Proficiency in Spanish or any other language is a valuable asset
  • Strong communication skills, especially when interacting with managers and employees on labor law matters
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented and well-versed in U.S. labor compliance matters
