Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a lab technician to join the Advanced Therapies team in Leiden, contributing directly to research and laboratory operations within Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. Responsibilities include handling laboratory materials, maintaining safety equipment, managing waste, and working in a regulated lab environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handling and distributing laboratory materials (glassware, coats, etc.)
  • cleaning, assembling, sterilizing, disassembling, and decontaminating glassware
  • maintaining and testing safety equipment (e.g., eye wash stations)
  • managing biological and chemical waste collection and disposal
  • liaising with vendors for material and waste pick-up
  • maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • keeping accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements:

  • Completed MBO or Bachelor education within Biology, Chemistry, Life science or compatible
  • experience in a laboratory and with GLP or GMP is a great plus
  • speak, write, read and understand English.
