We are seeking a proactive and experienced L2 Application Operations Specialist to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing application deployments, ensuring system performance, handling incidents, and driving operational excellence through automation and continuous monitoring. This role is critical in ensuring high availability and performance of enterprise applications, with a strong focus on end-to-end operational management.
Job Responsibility:
Manage application deployments and perform post-deployment checks to ensure stability
Drive automation of manual operational processes to improve efficiency
Handle Level 2 incident resolution, ensuring timely and effective support
Monitor application performance and ensure 24/7 system availability through proactive actions
Take operational ownership in projects, ensuring smooth transition to live environments
Generate reports on operational activities, incidents, and system health
Define and maintain monitoring and alerting for all applications and services
Track and analyze application/service errors, working with relevant teams for resolution
Requirements:
Proven experience with application operations and incident management in enterprise environments
Hands-on experience with at least some of the following technologies and platforms: WebLogic, Oracle
Kubernetes, OpenShift
Linux (preferably RHEL)
Ansible, Grafana
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in operational reporting and performance tracking
Ability to work in a 24/7 environment with on-call responsibilities for critical systems
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
