Job Description:

The KYC Operations Project Lead Analyst is responsible for leading AML monitoring, governance, oversight, and regulatory reporting activities. This senior-level position involves managing an internal KYC program at Citi, with responsibilities including day-to-day project management, risk assessment, stakeholder coordination, and developing innovative solutions for complex problems.

Job Responsibility:

day-to-day management of project milestones and budgets
assess, create, and manage project plans, charters, and budgets
ensure alignment between business case and business objectives
identify and include relevant stakeholders in scope activities
interact with bankers and sales/service teams on AML-related risk issues
coordinate with account operations on account maintenance
prepare client-specific KYC-related analyses as needed
escalate project risks appropriately
ensure vendor performance is monitored and managed
provide sophisticated analysis and solutions to problems
influence strategic functional decisions
advise and counsel senior stakeholders

Requirements:

6-10 years of experience
bachelor's degree/university degree or equivalent experience
ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
independence of judgement and autonomy
ability to assess, create, and manage project plans, charters, stakeholder plans, and budgets
knowledge of AML-related risk issues
ability to escalate project risks appropriately
vendor performance monitoring
sophisticated analytical and problem-solving skills
ability to define problems and develop innovative solutions
strong understanding of compliance, governance, and regulatory reporting requirements

Nice to have:

master's degree preferred
