Job Description:

As a Kitchen Sales Specialist at IKEA Exeter, you will guide customers through kitchen planning and design, helping them to achieve personalized solutions while working closely with sales targets and customers.

Job Responsibility:

Planning and designing kitchens for customers, in both initial and follow-up appointments to provide accurate plans, along with installation and custom worktop quotations where appropriate
actively engage with customers to identify their needs, inspiring and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home
enthusiastic about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design
support maximising sales through ensuring full product range is presented priced and easy to shop
communicate with customers in a variety of ways, including email, text, and calls starting from pre-appointment calls, and continuing through planning and purchase of their kitchen.

Requirements:

Experience working in a sales-oriented role, working closely with sales targets and directly with customers
skilled at forward planning
handle several tasks at once
take pleasure in being a team member as well as fulfilling responsibilities on your own
interest in people’s life at home
provide customers with personalised solutions that meet their needs
take initiative
make well-informed choices
actively engage with daily tasks
confident in learning and working with a variety of computer programmes including Microsoft Office suite and Kitchen Planning Tools.
