Job Description:

Kitchen Production Manager position at IKEA Gangdong responsible for managing kitchen production, food supply chain, and leading the kitchen production team to optimize and develop the IKEA Retail Food business

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure implementation of global and national compliance standards to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers
  • Secure appropriate processes to ensure food quality, food safety, operational excellence, vitality introduction, and waste reduction
  • Lead and manage the food supply chain for efficient ordering, production, and inventory levels to maximise profitability
  • Ensure the customer experience and exceed customer expectations
  • Secure that retail foundations are in place to optimise quality perception
  • Ensure the kitchen is in shape as new, with fully maintained and functioning equipment
  • Ensure high quality standards of customer experience in the customer and co-worker restaurant by cooperating with the Commercial Restaurant Manager
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of the unit business plan, IKEA Retail Food business plan, and other action plans
  • Secure a lean, diverse, and high performing team through competence building and empowering co-workers to act on their own initiative
  • Responsible for implementing global and national people and sustainability strategies

  • Responsible for quality standards of customer experience in the customer and co-worker restaurant
  • Implement global and national compliance standards
