Job Description:

Kitchen Planner position at IKEA Edmonton, responsible for meeting customers, understanding their kitchen and home furnishing needs, providing solutions, and supporting sales targets in a fast-paced retail environment.

Job Responsibility:

Be an IKEA Ambassador by understanding impact on customer experience
Offer solutions and answer questions related to kitchen and home furnishing needs
Actively approach customers to identify needs through insightful questions
Advise on best kitchen solutions for homes
Stay knowledgeable about in-store specials, delivery options, product features and benefits
Ensure sales floor is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced
Support team with additional duties
Support store business goals and team sales targets

Requirements:

Amazing attention for details
Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
Top notch customer service skills
Ability to assess customer needs quickly and sell solutions
People-person who can strike up conversations easily
Passion for IKEA products and design
Passion for Sustainability commitment
6-month work experience in high-volume sales or customer service environment
Comfortable working in physically demanding, fast-paced work environment
