As a Key Account Manager, you will lead the acquisition and growth of key business clients, manage high-value client portfolios, respond to major project tenders with competitive proposals, close deals balancing customer needs with business goals, and represent IKEA at trade shows and industry events. Job Responsibility:
Lead the acquisition and growth of key business clients by targeting corporate sectors with office solution needs, while also building long-term partnerships across key industries such as hospitality, early childhood education & care services, residential development, and commercial real estate
Manage high-value client portfolios, understanding their unique needs and delivering tailored furnishing solutions that align with their vision and our brand
Respond to major project tenders, Request for Proposal (RFPs) with compelling, competitive proposals, collaborating with internal teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that include products, services, and design
Negotiate commercial terms and close deals that balance customer needs with business goals, ensuring seamless execution and ongoing satisfaction
Represent IKEA at trade shows and industry events, staying connected to market trends and identifying new opportunities for growth.
Requirements:
Proven experience in key account management or senior business development, ideally in B2B environments
A track record of managing large-scale client relationships and delivering tailored solutions that drive mutual success
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to navigate negotiations, influence stakeholders, and close high-impact deals
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels of the business
A collaborative spirit and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver outstanding results
