Job Responsibility:

  • Design and implement cost-effective hardware and software systems architectures or cloud architectures that satisfies project requirements
  • Identify and analyse system integration problems, formulate and implement corrective and preventive plans
  • Lead and coordinate with system administrators and all project team members in implementation, configuration, testing, system rollout and maintenance
  • On-call for support cases
  • Willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals
  • System engineer may work for clients in different time zones and will work accordingly in the client’s time zone when assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as system engineer. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply as a trainee
  • Should expect to provide 24×7 on-call for emergency production incidents and provide on-site support for fire-fighting
  • Worked in a global role in a multi-national company is an advantage
  • Experience in delivering support to end-users via remote connection applications over the Internet
  • Experience in Windows Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux and Cloud Platforms
  • Good co-ordination – Experience designing infrastructure solutions
  • Understanding of SaaS, AWS, AzureProduction Support, ITIL workflow
  • Knowledge of firewall settings and infrastructure security
  • Knowledge of MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, or another database
  • Knowledge of DevOps, Docker, K8s, Ansible is a plus
