Our production kitchen is located in Mascot and is at the heart of Merivale. It is a dedicated space with the latest equipment and tools in order to support multiple venues with the production of key products such as sauces for our different venues, pasta for Totti’s, pizza dough for Vinnies Pizza, and pita bread for Jimmy’s. Our chefs specialise in delivering consistent product to Merivale venues. We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join this already incredible team at Mascot Production. This is the perfect opportunity for a chef looking to take the next step in their career and start leading a team.
Job Responsibility:
You will be part of the team responsible for making sauces, grilling meat and prepping similar products for a range of our venues
Requirements:
Have 3-4 years’ similar experience in production kitchen or a similar environment
Can manage your own section and guide junior team members
Are organised with an eye for detail and consistency
Happy to work in a production kitchen environment
Can do early starts and mainly a weekday roster
This is a physical job that could also requires lifting and moving items around the production kitchen
