An opportunity for a talented Junior Sommelier to join the iconic Four Seasons Hotel Milan. Responsible for supporting the Zelo Restaurant Sommelier operation, ensuring exceptional service.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Zelo Restaurant Sommelier operation with passion and creativity
Ensure exceptional service and attention to guests
Work closely with the Food and Beverage leadership team in taking care of the wine lists and recommending food and wine pairing
Assist the Head Sommelier and Team Sommelier with service preparation and glasses par stock
Engage with guests and recommend wines to complement their taste preferences and meal experience
Inventory control
Be highly visible in the operation, promoting good public relations
Take care of special requests with dedication to providing an attentive and distinctive guest experience
Requirements:
Certified wine and beverage education (At least the second level of AIS Sommelier certification or equivalent is required)
Good knowledge of wine and wine services techniques
Experience in luxury hotels and/or stand-alone restaurants or restaurant groups
Preferably a minimum of 1 year experience in a restaurant in the same position
Attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills
