We’re looking for a motivated Junior Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our Finance team in Madrid for a 1‑year maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around 1 year of purchase ledger or accounts payable experience who wants to grow, learn, and take on more responsibility in a supportive, international environment.
Job Responsibility:
Processing supplier invoices accurately and on time
Reconciling statements and resolving discrepancies
Supporting month‑end tasks
Maintaining accurate financial records
Communicating with suppliers and internal teams
Assisting with ad‑hoc finance tasks as needed
Requirements:
Around 1 year of experience in purchase ledger, accounts payable, or a similar finance role
Good Excel skills (basic formulas, spreadsheets, organisation)
Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
