We’re looking for a motivated Junior Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our Finance team in Madrid for a 1‑year maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around 1 year of purchase ledger or accounts payable experience who wants to grow, learn, and take on more responsibility in a supportive, international environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Processing supplier invoices accurately and on time
  • Reconciling statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Supporting month‑end tasks
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • Communicating with suppliers and internal teams
  • Assisting with ad‑hoc finance tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Around 1 year of experience in purchase ledger, accounts payable, or a similar finance role
  • Good Excel skills (basic formulas, spreadsheets, organisation)
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
