Job Description:

Partners with R&D and New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain groups to successfully introduce new products into world-wide production. Product Engineers interface with R&D, factory Process Engineering, Test Engineering and reliability engineering to solve product quality or yield problems. Responsible to sustain products through cost reductions seeking yield improvements.

Job Responsibility:

Partners with R&D and New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain groups to successfully introduce new products into world-wide production
Interface with R&D, factory Process Engineering, Test Engineering and reliability engineering to solve product quality or yield problems
Responsible to sustain products through cost reductions seeking yield improvements
Analyze samples of defective units/sub-assemblies
Report results to appropriate engineering teams
Recommend or implement changes to the product or process
Participate as a member of project team to develop and execute reliable, cost effective and high quality manufacturing solutions
Help technicians troubleshoot, and debug defective product units, sub-assemblies, and process steps
Validate and summarize test results
Implement specified changes to product or process to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs
Develop understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced partners for product development and manufacturing

Requirements:

Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
Typically 0-2 years experience
Experience or understanding of engineering tools and software packages
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Basic understanding of hardware and electrical component functionality
Good written and verbal communication skills
mastery in English and local language
Basic knowledge in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Knowledge and experience with PCA troubleshooting is a plus
Knowledge in Macros and Scripting is a plus
