Junior Estimator

• Prepare initial cost estimates for installations and develop price schedules and bid proposals
• Analyse technical aspects of projects based on blueprints, drawings, and other reference materials
• Compile estimates of labour and material costs to prepare competitive bids
• Assist clients in making informed decisions to successfully win bids
• Review analysis reports and seek opportunities for additional orders
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain bids for materials and services, ensuring compliance with contract requirements
• Forecast project timelines and ensure all estimates are accurate and detailed
• Maintain organised documentation and records of estimates, contracts, and project costs for future reference

• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to client satisfaction
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients
• Good time management and scheduling abilities to meet tight deadlines
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred but not essential
