We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive individual to support 2nd Line Operations for OSS provisioning and monitoring systems. This role focuses on preventive and corrective troubleshooting, ensuring service continuity, and collaborating with multiple operational and engineering teams to maintain high‑quality OSS service delivery. The individual will also contribute to data configuration, software rollouts, and ongoing integration activities within a multi‑vendor environment.
Job Responsibility:
Administer provisioning and monitoring platforms, as well as critical OSS applications
Troubleshoot service faults, perform corrective actions, and collaborate with third‑party support when required
Conduct daily monitoring, perform system health checks, and contribute to incident detection, reporting, and optimisation
Support operational projects, improvement initiatives, and configuration validation tasks
Collaborate closely with technical staff, NOC engineers, and Service Delivery teams to ensure smooth operational performance
Apply strong knowledge of Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes (INM, PRM, SRM)
Confidently use ticketing systems and auto‑routing tools to manage operational activities
Requirements:
Able to create technical instructions and provide 2nd Line support for OSS applications
Knowledgeable in Linux operating systems, application and database administration, and telecom protocols
Experienced in system/service request fulfilment, application rollouts, and software deployment support
Familiar with virtualisation technologies such as VMware vSphere/ESX and Microsoft Azure
A collaborative team player with strong English communication skills
Confident in applying ITIL‑aligned operational practices, including role/access management, documentation standards (KEDB, inventories, workarounds), and compliance with security, change, and release processes
Skilled in proactive monitoring, stakeholder communication, and escalation activities to meet SLA expectations
Holds a university degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or Computer Science
Has a minimum of one year’s experience in server/application operations and Linux/database environments
Willing to learn programming or scripting languages
