Job Description:

This is an opportunity to work for a renowned logistics company that puts employees first. This is ideal for aspiring technicians who specialize in warehouse machinery, and want to work in a large company with plenty of overtime and opportunities for growth. This is a temp-to-perm role which means you have a chance to stay on longer if you can prove yourself.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in engineering test performance of electromechanical assemblies, analyze and record test results, prepare written testing documentation and make the appropriate changes related to the Robotic Cartonization System, including slotting, process improvement, etc.
  • Perform minor facility maintenance work, coordinate service maintenance and support with external contractors (for both the Robotic System and the facility)
  • Act as liaison between Operations and Engineering, including providing technical support to business owner and other technicians in operating the automation as well as training operations personnel in the proper use of the equipment
  • Repair, rework and calibrate electromechanical components in order to meet engineering specifications
  • May be required to work during the core days shift in some occasions
  • Coordinate spare parts purchasing with suppliers and maintain records of the spare part inventory (for both Robotic System and the facility)
  • Maintains a safe distribution center and participates in the Health and Safety Committee

Requirements:

  • College Degree/Technical Certification in Electromechanical Engineering
  • Two (2) years or more experience in a similar position required
  • Two (2) years or more experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Clean criminal record check
