We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our team. This role is essential for transforming raw data into actionable business intelligence. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end data analysis lifecycle—from data collection and processing to visualization and reporting—to drive informed decision-making across the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Data Cleaning and Validation: Execute thorough data cleaning processes, including removing duplicates, handling missing values, standardizing formats, and checking for data inconsistencies to ensure high data integrity
Data Quality Documentation: Document any identified data quality issues, anomalies, or limitations and escalate complex or systemic issues to senior team members for resolution
Data Coordination: Coordinate with technology and data engineering teams to manage necessary data updates, execute change requests, and ensure the reliability and availability of data sources
Dashboard Maintenance: Refresh and update daily/weekly operational and performance dashboards with the latest datasets to provide timely insights to stakeholders
Report Generation: Design, develop, and maintain dynamic reports and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
Stakeholder Support: Review and address ad-hoc data requests and clarifications on previous analyses received via email from various site and functional teams
Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, Marketing) to accurately define data requirements and ensure analytical approaches are aligned with overall business objectives
Team Communication: Actively participate in team meetings to discuss project progress, share findings, and receive guidance on analytical methodologies and best practices.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 - 3 years of professional experience in a data-centric role
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is mandatory
Graduate in any discipline (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., B.Tech, etc.)
Nice to have:
Added advantage for candidates proficient in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
