Job Description:

Join Citi's Global Infrastructure Defense Security Engineering Team in Budapest to design, develop, test, and architect Citi’s next-generation cybersecurity solutions. Responsibilities include deploying Cisco ISE solutions, implementing 802.1X protocols, conducting security assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, among others. Ideal candidates should have 1-3 years of experience, a STEM degree, and fluency in English, with preferences for scripting knowledge and Cisco certifications.

Job Responsibility:

assist in the deployment and maintenance of Cisco ISE wired and wireless solutions
support the implementation of 802.1X authentication protocols to ensure secure network access
learn and contribute to the configuration and troubleshooting of TACACS and RADIUS protocols for authentication, authorization, and accounting processes
collaborate with senior team members to integrate security solutions into the overall network architecture
contribute to security assessments and vulnerability analyses
participate in the implementation of recommended remediation strategies
work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and support security requirements
contribute to the development and maintenance of security documentation, processes, and procedures
stay informed about industry trends, emerging threats, and evolving technologies to support continuous improvement

Requirements:

1-3 years of relevant work experience
fluent English
basic understanding of network security principles and protocols
eagerness to learn and develop technical skills in Cisco ISE, 802.1X, TACACS, and RADIUS
exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a plus
strong analytical and problem-solving skills
effective communication and willingness to collaborate within a team
passion for cybersecurity and a proactive approach to learning
Unix / Linux experience
Cisco 300-715 - Implementing and Configuring Cisco Identity Services Engine certification preferred
university / college degree in any STEM area or equivalent industry/technology knowledge

Nice to have:

exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python)
