We’re looking for a brilliant Junior Category Manager to join our Commercial team here at PROPER SNACKS. Job Responsibility:
Lead category reviews and build standout insight stories for our key customers
Spot growth opportunities across retailers, channels and formats using shopper and market data
Bring insight into customer meetings with clear, confident and commercial recommendations
Work closely with Marketing and Innovation to ground brand and NPD thinking in solid category understanding
Keep a close eye on the category — trends, competitors, shifts in behaviour — and share what matters with the team
Champion the voice of the shopper across the business
Requirements:
Around 2+ years’ experience in category, insights or commercial analytics (FMCG is a bonus, not a must)
Comfortable with data and ideally familiar with tools like Nielsen, IRI or Kantar
A natural storyteller — able to turn numbers into meaning and make insights land
Calm and confident in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Curious, enthusiastic and always up for learning something new
