Job Description:

Citi’s Risk Application Support Team is looking for a Junior Applications User Support Analyst to join their EMEA team. The team provides global coverage and specialized support across Credit and Market Risk applications. Primary responsibilities include system maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting enhancements for applications. Candidates should have basic knowledge in apps support procedures, SQL, Unix, and data quality checks, along with strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Job Responsibility:

Maintain, identify and define enhancements to existing applications and their operating environments
Analyze existing system logic
Formulate and define scope and objectives for changes through research and fact-finding
Document requirements
Partner with appropriate development and production support areas
Participate in validation and testing activities
Assess the applicability of previous or similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances not covered by procedures
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made

Requirements:

0-2 years experience or interest in apps support procedures, concepts and of other technical areas
Experience with SQL and Unix for data quality checks/data analysis
Participation in some process improvements
Be able to work under pressure
Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge in banking applications and server infrastructure
Good interpersonal and communication skills, great teammate
