The primary purpose of this position is to help, by team effort, to promote our client so that it merits a reputation as the most prominent and influential accounting practice and complete practical business adviser in our state and the District. This is achieved by providing a range of accounting, assurance, and advisory skills that contribute to individual service to clients and maintain the professional reputation and growth of the practice.
Job Responsibility:
Undertake special assignments as required
Preparation of Financial Statements and Taxation Returns
Preparation of GST / PAYE / FBT / RWT Returns
Monthly Reporting
Responding to client queries
Responding to Inland Revenue Department and other agency queries
Requirements:
Ability to complete accounting tasks to a standard consistent with the level of time and experience in chartered accounting
Thorough knowledge of work papers and the ability to plan and organise work according to specifications
Work with clients to understand their business and accounting practices
Establish good working relationships with clients and the client’s team members
Demonstrate a practical working knowledge of the firm’s accounting procedures
Identify opportunities to add value to clients’ businesses by providing additional services
Work as part of the team and manage own workflow and responsibilities to enhance team performance
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the firm as a whole
