Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out structural parts assembly services, adjust aircraft component fairings and assemble various options, in accordance with the instructions contained in the technical data accepted and approved for carrying out these services
  • Comply with the requirements set out in the Maintenance Organization Manual (MOM) and the Quality Control Manual (MCQ) for services carried out in maintenance workshops, in addition to the above
  • Use methods, techniques and practices established in the latest revision of the manufacturer's maintenance manual, or in the instructions for continued airworthiness prepared by the manufacturer or other methods, techniques and practices approved by Helibras. [RBAC 43.13 (a)]
  • Assist PL/SR Structural Technicians and Structural Specialists in carrying out structural repairs on aircraft, providing the necessary tools to carry out the services, preparing the work area and returning the tools used to the tool tent at the end of the service
  • If not qualified as an aircraft maintenance mechanic according to RBAC 65, perform the services under the supervision of an aircraft maintenance mechanic qualified by ANAC. (The supervisor must personally observe the execution of the work, to the extent required to ensure that it is being carried out properly, and remain readily available, in person, to answer queries)
  • Submit the work carried out to the Supervisor for examination and approval for return to service (APRS). [Ref.: RBAC 145.153 and 145.157]
  • Carry out inspections using non-destructive testing techniques, if qualified. [Ref: IS 43.13-003]
  • Record the services carried out and/or supervised in accordance with current legislation, using the forms defined by the company through the MOM/MCQ. [RBAC 43.9 and 43.11] and ensure that all the relevant records for the service have been made before considering the service completed
  • Keeping their workstation clean and tidy, collecting all the debris produced during their work at the end of the day and depositing it in a suitable place, and cleaning, organizing and storing all the tools used during their work, in order to keep the work area organized and ensure that no tools are forgotten in the aircraft
  • Work in technical support services for innovation activities, through the implementation and maintenance of facilities or equipment intended for the execution of research, development or technological innovation projects
