This position requires a versatile technical professional who can bridge hardware and software domains while demonstrating strong problem-solving and communication skills. The ideal candidate will develop deep knowledge of our production robotics systems, combining mechanical troubleshooting expertise with software debugging capabilities. They must be able to navigate system architectures, read code efficiently, and know when to escalate issues versus pursue independent solutions. Key attributes include being resourceful under pressure, maintaining clear documentation. We're seeking someone who can work independently while effectively collaborating across teams, a hands-on problem solver who knows how to find answers and drive solutions forward.
Job Responsibility:
Know how to use Git repository and install test SW and or restore the robot after use
SW benchmark testing
Will need to be able to sort through code to help with troubleshooting
Will need to be comfortable with command line and Linux
Keep up-to date with the latest stable releases from the SW team
Maintain a strong understanding of System architecture
Will be in-touch and at times working closely with both the hardware team and the software team
Requirements:
Demonstrates sustained attention to detail
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
Strong mechatronics background
Basic-to-intermediate coding skills
Basic knowledge of how Docker and docker-compose works
