Job Description:

We are looking for a Jr. Administrative Assistant to join our team in Morristown, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office while managing various administrative tasks. This is a contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent, offering potential for growth based on your skills and performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate with building management to address maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Manage office supply inventory, including ordering water and other essentials to maintain an organized workspace
  • Handle general office operations to ensure a productive and efficient environment for employees
  • Respond to vendor inquiries by obtaining necessary documents and addressing transaction-related questions
  • Follow up on submitted service tickets, ensuring all issues are resolved promptly
  • Submit required documentation and track progress until completion
  • Support employees by addressing technical concerns and liaising with external service providers
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation related to office activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in administrative support or a related role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with vendors and team members
  • Proficiency in handling service desk tickets and resolving inquiries
  • Experience with ordering office supplies and managing inventory
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Detail-oriented approach to ensure accurate documentation and follow-through
