Job Description:

Vivienne Westwood is currently recruiting an intern to assist the Jewellery Development team in the London Head Office, Battersea. The successful candidate will have a unique learning opportunity and will obtain a valuable insight into the collection from initial research and sourcing, through to design development. The role is offered on a full-time basis (Monday - Friday) for 3 months.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting with archive jewellery
  • Assisting in organising the commercial / special project and show jewellery sample archive
  • Researching / sourcing new materials/components
  • Assisting in the data recording of the collection development, photographing samples and sending samples to suppliers
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Keeping record of all materials’ data, pricing, and specifications
  • Prepare and update tech packs, pattern files, and any relevant sample documents
  • Sending international shipments and completing necessary documentation
  • Arranging local collections and deliveries
  • Responsible for repairs and returned samples
  • Working on written presentations, selling books and spec sheets
  • Ensuring the department is kept up to date and organised
  • Assisting the team during showroom presentation
  • General admin task

Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Word, and Excel
  • Adaptable, helpful and motivated, with a problem-solving mindset
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly
  • Efficiently prioritise and manage multiple tasks at once whilst maintaining a high-quality standard and completing on time
  • Demonstrate clear and effective communication, both written and verbal English, when communicating with team
  • Work collaboratively within a team, assisting with a range of tasks across different areas of product development
  • A genuine interest in learning and being part of a team
  • Good communication skills are a must as should be the applicants spoken and written English
